Problem logging-in

I installed the scripts recently and after installation I initially had a problem logging-in but this seemed to sort itself out. I logged in and did a backup. I've now tried to run the script again and now can't log-in. I am unable to change the file permissions as detailed in the readme file as the site is hosted on a Windows server (not my choice). I don't understand how it ran previously and not now. Is there anything I can do to get it working?

regards,
Mike

Re: Problem logging-in

You'll find some other posts detailing how to change the login system.

You shouldn't have much issue with windows. As long as the config file isn't set to read only.

Re: Problem logging-in

I found an instruction in another post to remove doLogin() from the backup.php. I couldn't find this in my version but removed login() at line 20. I can now access the script in the browser without logging in and run it OK. However, doesn't this present a security issue if I don't have to log-in?
