Site imbedded usage problem

This is an awesome gallery and I love it. Do have one question though. I have this imbedded into my existing site as you can see here:

http://www.cabinets-r-us.com/gallery.php

However I have to run the admin from a new browser. The problem I have is I always have to adjust the thumbnail and image directory in settings to get it to show the albums so I can administer them and then switch it back for it show up within my site properly. Example:

./gallery/thumbnails/
./gallery/images/

When I remove the gallery I get full administration but the gallery within the website does not work and when I put the gallery back in the website works and I do not get the ability within administration to work with albums. However I can do anything else within administration ok.

Here is the error I get vica versa

*********************
There are no photo albums in this gallery!

Login to the admin page to upload photos.
*********************

Obviously I can do what I need to but it bothers because while I am administrating the gallery is is not available on the site until I get done and switch it back and I don't want someone trying to view it and it not be there if you know what I mean.

Any suggestions?

Jody

Re: Site imbedded usage problem

Hi,

Make sure you have your admin.php and gallery.php files in the same folder. I think the problem you might be having is your gallery page is running from gallery.php and your admin page is running from gallery/admin.php.

If you move the admin.php file to be in the same folder as gallery.php you shouldn't have any problems with switching locations.

Re: Site imbedded usage problem

Everything is in same folder. All I did was upload your folder and rename it so I have not changed any structure in that regard. That is what really puzzles me.
