What is Idut Gallery?
Idut Gallery is a simple, but very powerful PHP gallery system. It does not use a database. It can be easily customised and incorporated into an existing website or on its own. The gallery consists of only 3 files including a powerful admin script where you can manage galleries and change settings.

Information for current users
You can upgrade to the new version of Idut Gallery without wiping your settings. Just follow the simple instructions (below) of how to upgrade. None of the new features will be turned on until you login to the admin section and switch them on.

1. DESCRIPTION
Idut Gallery is a simple, but very powerful PHP gallery system.
It does not use a database. It can be easily customised and

2. INSTALLATION

I. Clean Install

To install Idut Gallery from scratch:
1. Unzip all files
2. Upload files to web directory
3. Chmod 777 the config.php and mainfile.html files
4. Chmod 777 the directory that will store the folders containing images
5. Upload gallery folders into that directory
6. Access admin.php online to create galleries and change settings
Username: demo. Password: demo - change these in config.php before uploading
7. Access gallery online through index.php

II. Upgrade

To UPGRADE Idut Gallery from a previous version:
1. Upload and overwrite index.php and admin.php on web directory
2. Chmod 777 the original/currently in use config.php and mainfile.html files
3. Access the admin.php file online to switch on new features if you wish
4. Access gallery online through index.php

III. Advanced Configuration

To have Idut Gallery fit more seamlessly into your website you should
edit config.php, mainfile.html header.php and footer.php files in a text editor
before uploading the gallery. Please include a link to http://www.veadas.net/idut
in the gallery.
