What is Idut Gallery?
Idut Gallery is a powerful yet user friendly website photo gallery system. It can be easily customised and incorporated into an existing website. Written in PHP, you can upload images to your gallery using FTP or the built-in upload system. As well as looking great, you can add descriptions to your albums and images and users can comment on your photos! Idut Gallery is simple to install and doesn't require a database.
What's new in 2.1?
Lots of new features have been added to this version of Idut Gallery including:
• Choose which image is the album cover
• Ability to upload many images at once and have them resized using Java for fast uploading
• Pretty URLs using HTACCESS
• Various bug fixes including thumbnail and album order (sorting)
• Enhanced security, upgrade is strongly recommended
Version 2.1.1 fixes some small issues with comments not working in version 2.1. The upgrade patch can be found Click here!.

Upgrade
For assistance with upgrading, Idut can customise your upgrade. Click here for more information.
Upgrade from version 1:
1. Idut Gallery 2 is not fully compatable with version 1
2. Follow instructions above and do a clean install but keep your images directory
3. For more upgrade information, visit www.idut.co.uk
Upgrade from version 2.0:
1. Replace your old index.php and admin.php with the latest version
2. Upload .htaccess, thinupload.php and thinupload.js to your main gallery folder
3. To activate pretty URLS, insert into config.php the following line:
$IG_CONFIG['prettyurls'] = true;
4. Create directory called "temp" and chmod 777.^BACK TO TOP^
